End cutters have the cutting edge on the end of the cutter and depending on the amount of cutting edge bevel can be used to trim wires very close to a surface.
Standard End Cutters
KN6801-160
The KN6801-160 has a cutting capacity of .090” diameter hard wire. The cutter is made of high grade special tool steel, oil-hardened and tempered. The cutting edges are induction hardened and approximately 61 HRC.
KN6701-140, KN6701-160, KN6701-200
The KN6701 series comes in three sizes; the 140 is 5.5” in length with a cutting capacity of .078” diameter, the 160 is 6.25” in length with a cutting capacity of .098” diameter, and the 200 is 8” in length with a cutting capacity of .118” diameter. The tools are made of Chrome Vanadium electric steel, oil-hardened and tempered and the cutting edges are induction hardened to approximately 61 HRC.
KN6901-130
The Mechanics End Cutting Nipper, KN6901-130, is an ideal tool for cutting extremely thin wires of copper, aluminum and very hard alloy steels. The maximum cutting capacity is .039” diameter and for intricate, close work the tool is exceptional. The tool is made of Chrome Vanadium electric steel, oil-hardened and tempered and the cutting edges are induction hardened to approximately 64 HRC.
Right-angled End Cutters
KN6101-200
The Bolt End Cutting Nippers, KN6101-200, are a real workhorse and can cut up to .137 hard wire. The tool is made of Vanadium electric steel, oil-hardened and tempered and the cutting edges are induction hardened to approximately 64 HRC. The high cutting capacity is available with minimum effort due to the tool’s optimum transmission ratio.
Spring Assisted End Cutters
D3010-150
The D3010-150 is 6” long and is often used in the spring industry where the spring return and compound lever design reduces operator fatigue in repetitive cutting situations. The cutting capacity is 0.118" diameter hard wire.
